Practicing law in Alabama since 1977.
Nearly five decades of trial and settlement work across Alabama.
John Medaris has practiced law in Alabama since passing the bar in 1977. We represent individuals and businesses in both trial and settlement, and court appearances are a regular part of our schedule.
Much of our work means taking on insurance companies and medical institutions. We handle smaller, everyday legal matters too, and give them the same attention as the larger ones.
We practice in courts across Alabama, with extensive experience in Jefferson, Shelby, and Chilton Counties and the cities within them. The quickest way to reach us is by phone.
Three habits that have not changed.
In the courtroom
Trial work is how cases get resolved when they will not settle. Court appearances are a regular part of the week, not an occasional event.
Across the table
Much of the work is against insurance companies and medical institutions. Settlement comes first where it is the right result, and trial where it is not.
On the small matters
A traffic ticket or a misdemeanor gets the same attention as a large case. To the person holding the ticket, it is not small.
